Arts Education | Community Impact
Vision & Us is the arts education branch of Vision & You, dedicated to learning through art, with art, about art and because of art. As a not for profit community interest company (CIC), we provide workshops, creative learning experiences and support for young people, particularly those from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds.
Our mission is to break cycles of disadvantage by providing access to creative opportunities outside of formal education. We believe that learning doesn’t stop at the school gates - neither does curiosity, imagination or artistic expression. That’s why we create safe, inspiring spaces where young people can explore art at their own pace, free from assessment pressures.
What We Offer

Creative workshops in photography, art, graphic design and digital media, using both traditional and contemporary processes.

Support for young artists through mentoring, CV and personal statement writing and creative career advice.

Work experience pathways, connecting +16 students with creative professionals and potential placements.
Our Journey
Since 2020, Vision & Us has engaged with schools, communities and online networks, delivering workshops, supporting students, and collaborating with artists and educators. During the pandemic, Hannah co-created an international online arts community, ‘Stay Home, Let’s Create’, proving that creativity thrives no matter the circumstances. While the project has evolved, its impact continues to resonate within our work today.

SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
Vision & Us provides creative learning opportunities for young people who may have limited access to educational support at home or school. Through art and design, we offer an alternative space for learning, self-expression, and personal growth outside of the state curriculum.
We are also committed to wellbeing and mental health support, working with young people, families, and communities to foster confidence, creativity, and resilience. Our safeguarding efforts are strengthened through collaborations with local social workers and therapists, ensuring that those who need additional support have access to the right resources.
