An Independent Artist Network

By The Way is a platform dedicated to independent artist representation, creative networking, and artistic collaboration. Designed to bring together artists, art educators, and those who work within or write about the arts, it serves as a free and open space for connection, promotion, and creative dialogue.

The project is run in association with Vision & Us, a visual arts teaching and learning Community Interest Company. Led by Hannah Maden, By The Way was created with the goal of supporting artists at all stages of their careers—whether through networking, showcasing, publication, or exhibition opportunities.

How It Works

• A space for exhibiting and publishing, supported by sponsorships and donations, ensuring accessibility for all.

• An independent, fee-free network—we take no commission on sales, allowing artists full ownership of their success.​
